Maine Woods Baseball players enjoying vintage base ball on the Sunrise Club...next game Oct 15th. After nine years in the league, five trips to the Championship dance and three rings...Dave Brandt has graciously retired from the league. Known for his great smile and fun dugout presence, he also locked down 3rd Base for two championship seasons with the Cardinals and one for the Pirates. The consummate ball player, Dave will be missed around Kelly Field next year. Best of luck on the golf links from all your Maine Woods baseball friends.

Maine Woods Baseball added three new officers to our league board: Ben Johnson as President, Jeff Yopp as Scribe and Michael Courts as Treasurer. All three individuals bring energy, enthusiasm and fresh perspective to the league. They will be a welcome addition as we plan for 2016 and beyond. We also added a new position on the board. Glenn Rogers will take the lead role as Social Chairman to help keep things loose and fun.
The Dodgers defeated the 2014 league champion Pirates and raised the new league trophy in victory. Congratulations to the Dodgers on a well played, hard fought battle at Hadlock Field in Portland.
